How to care for hand-painted jewellery
28 June 2026

Every pendant in the jewellery collection is painted with a fine brush and sealed with a matte lacquer. That seal is durable but not invincible — perfume, hairspray and alcohol-based sanitiser will dull it faster than anything else.
The rule is simple: jewellery goes on last and comes off first. Store pieces in the cotton pouch they arrive in rather than stacked in a metal box, where chains scratch painted surfaces.
If a piece picks up dust, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Never soak hand-painted work — water travels under the seal at the edges and lifts pigment over time.
